This is a Wishbone Modification Kit for all Polo 86c 2 and 2f ('80 – '94) front axles.
We have specifically designed this product to counter severe OEM wishbone deformations in high-performance applications.
The brace in front of the oil pan allows enough space for a 3" Y-pipe. It supports the susceptible front area with additional strength.
All materials and metal fillers are supplied with Material Test Certificates. We only use high-strength aircraft grade aluminum, case-hardening alloy steel and high-strength construction steel in this Kit.
The material is galvanized and / or powder-coated to prevent corrosion.
The spherical bearings from FLURO are made of quenched and tempered steel. All parts of the Kit are high quality – Made in Germany.
To ensure a load-bearing capacity of 100%, spherical bearings are supplied with bearing clearance C0.
The bolting meets strength class 10.9 and has been burnished where necessary to prevent Hydrogen embrittlement.
The Wishbone Kit can be mounted plug & play on the vehicle.
It will be delivered with our Wishbone support PP-530 for significantly lowered vehicles (Important: Does not fit French Polo 86c 2 / 2f G40 without catalytic converter. In contrast to other Polo 86c models, this model, which was delivered by the manufacturer without a catalytic converter, is fitted with a lower, more left-angled Y-pipe (downpipe)).
