This is a 52 mm thick all-aluminum Radiator for all VW Polo 86c 2 G40 (’82 – ’89).
The width of this Radiator is reduced by 55 mm compared to the standard radiator. This increases clearance for a G60 turbocharger or similar modifications. The two lower centering studs are located at the standard position. The link on the top left side is also located at the standard position for secure installation of the Radiator.
As you can see in images, this Radiator is also perfectly suitable for Polo 1 and Audi 50 G40 modifications.
Our Radiator achieves considerably higher efficiency than standard radiators: It has 32 instead of 24 sheets, is thicker and made of a special aluminum alloy for optimal thermal conductivity.
It is 10 mm deeper than GEN1 and uses a 3-core grid ensuring maximum heat dissipation. This grid provides an important advantage: The volumetric flow rate is much higher than in 2-core grids.
Optimized cooling is essential for high-performance applications and/or turbo modifications with the turbocharger being part of the coolant system.
